A celebration of Audrey Hepburn’s 90th birthday anniversary year.

Hundreds of original and re-printed photographs, memorabilia, dresses and accessories as well as her never before seen fashion drawings and humanitarian writings.

ABOUT

Intimate Audrey is a ‘bespoke’ exhibition on the life of Audrey Hepburn created by her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, to celebrate her 90th birthday anniversary. It focuses entirely on the woman – not the icon. It is the woman behind the legend who is ‘coming home’.

Originally launched in her birth town of Brussels on May 4th 2019, Belgium, the exhibition then moved to Amsterdam, where she spent the war, in the fall of 2019. On hold during the pandemic it will now continue its biographical journey.

The exhibition includes several hundred original and re-printed photographs, a limited amount of memorabilia, dresses and accessories, as well as her never before seen fashion drawings and humanitarian writings. A series of poignant videos bring each of its chapters to life.

Profits will go to EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe – as well as other charitable projects, via the Belgian bespoke ASBL (non for profit association) ‘Born in Bruxelles’. Its name refers to Miss Hepburn’s birth place.  The ASBL was created by Sean Hepburn Ferrer, his wife Karin Hepburn Ferrer and the project’s CFO, Pierre Hariga, to manage the exhibition and its non profit objectives.
